Pastor's prayer partners
Our Purpose
This vital ministry is comprised of faithful men and women that volunteer once a month to pray during the sermon hour. Our primary mission is to pray for: Pastor as he preaches the Word of God; the congregation as they hear the Word; the lost souls who would hear and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; and for those that are out of fellowship to return to the body for service. Our primary goal is to encourage men and women to pray for Pastor and the congregation during sermon time each Sunday of the month throughout the year.
What Happens When Men and Women Pray?
We lift up the name of Jesus and ask for forgiveness of our sins.
We invoke the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We ask God’s blessing on the preached Word.
We ask the Holy Spirit to prick the hearts of the lost.
We seek the Lord’s blessing upon our church and community.
We pray for strength and protection for our Pastor.
We pray for the well being of our families and loved ones.
