Christian Education
The Christian Education Ministry exists to worship Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior through a disciplined approach to Bible study for the purpose of increasing individual faith and personal growth in God. This approach is accomplished through our year-long Studies in Christian Living Classes (SICL) for Adults, Children and Youth, our Vacation Bible School Program, which operates during the summer and our on-going Bible Teacher Training which seeks to provide the skills and enhance the gifts that are necessary to teach the Bible.

Bayview Scholarship Program
The Bayview Scholarship Program is a vehicle through which the Bayview congregation, as well as individual and family funded scholarships, provide financial support to Bayview and community-wide applicants that are pursuing a college degree. Through the generosity and support of the Bayview congregation, students are able to subsidize tuition and fee costs, purchase textbooks and classroom supplies, and underwrite college housing and meal plans.
Crown Financial Ministries
Crown Financial Ministries is a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry whose core values include recognition of God's ownership of all things, the need to pray about everything, and the desire to equip and serve others with excellence while teaching in ways understood by all cultures and generations. This 11-week Small Group Bible Study to train adults to practically apply the financial principles from God’s Word. Learn what scripture teaches about money and possessions in a 2 hour weekly class.
Focus Tutorial
The Focus Tutorial program is dedicated to the service of helping students within our community attain and uphold academic proficiency in middle and senior high school so that they can be prepared to attend college or other training beyond high school. This program is comprised of committed, competent volunteer tutors with an interesting array of academy backgrounds offering free classroom-type instruction in basic Science, general Mathematics, English and History.
Studies in Christian Living (SICL)
The SICL Department is a Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry which offers our students a broad selection of biblically based classes that are designed to help us grow more like Christ as we learn about God and how He wants us to live and impact our home, communities, cities, and ultimately, the world. Studies in Christian Living classes are comprised of 15 small group Bible studies that meet weekly in our church campus for Pre-School, Primary children, Youth, Young Adults (New Generation), Adults and seniors. Church members and their guests are welcomed in all of our classes.
Off-Site Studies in Christian Living (OSS)
In order to foster personal and spiritual growth in a relaxed setting, Bayview offers an off-site SICL program in a small group setting. Area coordinators have been assigned for Chula Vista, North County and Spring Valley. Contact Rev. Brian Clater if you are interested in participating in one of these small groups in your neighborhood.
Premarital Ministry
Because the church is where most people are looking for moral and spiritual guidance and our biblical responsibility to strengthen the family, premarital education and enrichment is provided.
Premarital Education Classes consist of couples participating in an 8-week, 2 ½ hour per session course. These sessions are designed to help couples take an in-depth look at themselves and what they are getting into in marriage. Topics include: Understanding the Biblical Concept of Marriage, Marriage Expectations, Functions of the Wife/Husband, His Needs/Her Needs, Communication, and Conflict Resolution |
