What Are Crown Small Group Studies?
An 11-week Small Group Bible Study to train adults to practically
apply the financial principles from God’s Word. Learn
what scripture teaches about money and possessions in a 2
hour weekly class.
There are four requirements for students
participating in this study:
1. Daily prayer for each member of your group.
2. Memorize one assigned scripture each week.
3. Complete weekly homework assignments-both Bible study and practical application. (approximately 2 hours of homework per week)
4. Attend a minimum of 8 of the 10 classes.
What Will I Learn?
Topics covered in the Crown Financial Study include: Getting Out of Debt, Saving, Spending, Budgeting, Earning Money, Investing, and Giving. This study is the number one resource for transforming the mind and heart of an individual regarding attitudes about money.
*Note: This course is not intended as budget counseling or immediate help for those with severe financial problems including those facing foreclosure, consumer debt, or those who need more of a "basics of financial management" training. If you are looking for assistance in these areas, please contact us and we will be glad to help you identify appropriate resources.
When Are the Classes Held?
Bayview’s Crown Small Group Studies are typically scheduled three times a year - spring, summer and fall.
Classes are held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. in the MLK building. Saturday morning classes are scheduled based on student demand. Pre-registration is required and enrollment is limited to 8 students in each class.
How Much Does the Class Cost?
There is no cost for the class but you will
need to purchase the Crown study materials.
They are available in the Bayview bookstore
to registered participants.
Singles cost is $55
Married couples cost is $65
