Inspirational Choir
Mission Statement:
The Inspirational Choir exists for the glory
of God to sing psalms, and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in our hearts to the Lord. Colossians
3:17 says ”And
whatsoever you do, in word or deed do
all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God and the
Father by him.” The inspirational choir is committed
to the Bayview product, “Giving
God Our Best”.
Objective: Each choir disciple will …
1. Understand the role music plays in worship.
2. Gain an appreciation for the commitment to the music ministry by consistent attendance and participation at Youth Bible Study, Youth Fellowship and Worship Services.
3. Bring an electronic recording device to rehearsals.
4. Be attentive and prayerful during choir rehearsal
5. Praise God through song in spirit and in truth.
6. Be in proper attire. Attire will be assigned quarterly. (African attire during Black History Month)
