Welcome Ministry
The Welcome Ministry envisions a church where all members, visitors and guests are enveloped by the spirit and power of God, so that we worship Him for who He is and follow His commandments, that the church and our community would be blessed because of our faith and obedience.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given us, let us use them: (Romans 12:4-6a)
The men and women of the Welcome Ministry are the first people each member, guest and visitor meet, prior to entering the sanctuary. It is our goal to create a warm and friendly environment for everyone. The Lord welcomes all good and wholesome acts and deeds, and the Welcome Ministry endeavors to show the Spirit of Christ which dwells within us, as we use our gift of service.
A hearty welcome and a joyous smile is encouragement to those who may be seeking salvation or a church home. So if you would like to serve God with a:
