Young Ladies for christ (YLC)
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he
is old, he will not depart from it. -
Proverbs 22:6
“Young Ladies for Christ” (YLC) fellowship is a
special time for the girls to come together and learn how God’s
unchanging word speaks to them regarding every area of their
lives such as; their challenges, their victories, family relationships,
friendships, peer pressures, sex, respect for themselves and
others, just to name a few.
We deal with these topics through fun and creative interaction,
activities and visual examples that allow the young ladies to
feel comfortable sharing in open discussions without feeling
ashamed or embarrassed.
Our study materials are carefully chosen to address the issues
that face our youth on a daily basis and give them the tools
to handle themselves, God’s way, in a world that teaches
too much tolerance, offers tobacco, alcohol and sexual promiscuity
as entertainment, and then counts them among the statistics of
those who never experience God’s best for their lives.
We appreciate the opportunity to touch our Young Ladies for
Christ and leave an impression on their hearts that each of them
are “wonderfully and gloriously made” as it says
in God’s word. They are certainly worth our time
and effort and we encourage each parent/guardian to bring your
child to our youth fellowship ministry. Please also encourage
them to bring a friend from school or their neighborhood that
may not have a church home.
