Rev. Brian D. Clater M. Div.
Rev. Clater serves as Director of Christian Education at Bayview Church. As a full-time staff member, Rev. Clater is responsible for planning and integrating the Bible teaching program for the entire church school ministry. Rev. Clater maintains a close working relationship with Pastor Winters in order to develop a continuous program of Bible-based learning opportunities for adults, youth and pre-school aged students. These programs are designed to help the Bible student to grow spiritually in the Word of God. In addition to his church responsibilities, Rev. Clater has written for the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. and served as a Board member of the Alzheimer Association's San Diego Chapter and as an Honored Teammate of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, San Diego Chapter. Rev. Clater is a graduate of Drew University (BA) and Howard University (MCP). He completed his Masters of Divinity degree in 1999 from Azusa Pacific University. Rev. Clater is an ordained minister. He and his wife, Dorothy, are avid road cyclists and he is an certified scuba diver. The Clater's are parents to two daughters. |
