HOW TO UNITE WITH US

Candidate For Baptism
If you wish to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior (that is to be saved), you may do so during the invitation period of our worship service. Pastor will invite you to come forward so he lead you in the prayer of confession.

The Bible teaches that, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart, that He is risen, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Your Salvation is complete at the moment of "belief".

The Bible also instructs us to be Baptized (immersed in water) in a symbolic act that commemorates the Lord's death, burial, and resurrection.

A Candidate for Baptism is someone who is accepting Christ as their personal Savior for the first time - they are making their decision to follow Jesus and to unite with the Bayview family.

After Pastor leads you through the Prayer of Confession a team of Bayview Disciples known as Crusaders will register your name and give you further instructions about preparation for Baptism and Discipleship training.

Christian Experience
If you have already received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but you are in need of a new church home you may unite with the Bayview family by Christian Experience.

Restoration
A former member (disciple) who desires to get back into active fellowship with the Bayview Church may come forward for Restoration.

Full membership is contingent upon the following:
• Completion of the New Member's Conference
• Completion of the Four Classes of Discipleship
• Completion of the Spiritual Gifts Analysis
• Attending the Commitment Conference with Pastor (for selection of a ministry to serve in and commitment to the financial support of the Church.
